The role
NES have a client who is recruiting experienced staff for a major project in Saudi.

Required Experience/Accountabilities
Ideally many years in a similar sort of role working in a remote location and another plus if you have worked in the UAE or GCC before.

Overall responsibility to ensure that the requirements and outputs of the Contract are adhered to, in terms of both schedule and quality and in so doing maintain positive, supportive and professional relationships with the Client, the Contractor and all Public Authorities.

Reports to Project Manager: Responsible to proactively keep him abreast of all matters pertaining to the delivery of the Contract as well as to routinely report to him on all matters both routine and specific.

Provide direction and team leadership to the resident engineers and their respective teams, manage and provide any necessary training schemes to enhance their performance relative to the goals and objectives of the Contract.
Ensure safety on the site.
Supervise contractors quality of work
Monitor Contractors progress
Review & approve payment certificates
Issue Instructions to the Contractors

Skills and Knowledge:
Good management and communication skills, strong leadership qualities,
Decisive and able to make timely, considered decisions, cooperative, good knowledge of contracts, FIDIC, specifications, drawings etc.
