General Foreman Civil Engineering projects, North West 35K

My client is part of a Global Engineering company and provides a range of Civil Engineering construction services throughout the UK on projects from 1m to 100m to a wide range of public and private sector customers. They need a General Foreman to work on a variety of projects including roads, bridges and highways contracts up to approximately 5million.

You will be responsible for plant and labour resources and costs and be co-ordinating effective material utilisation on site. You will ensure the site complies with the highest standards of HSQE, provide assistance in compliance of CSR programme and ensure training standards are maintained for people under their supervision. You will effectively liaise with other disciplines, suppliers and sub-contractors and take an in interest in all aspects of the project.

Candidates will have previous experience working within a similar role and have the relevant skills / knowledge gained from working with a regional or national civils contractor on major road, bridge and highways projects. You will be site based and work on projects throughout the North West.
