The position involves the integration of the planning activities for SURF (Subsea, Umbilicals, Flowlines, Risers), covering all project phases from the design through procurement to offshore installation and commissioning, associated with our developments in the ultra deepwater location off the coast of West Africa

Our programme of work covers four projects, each comprising an FPSO, a complex SURF Infrastructure, Subsurface Engineering and Development Drilling. The first project within the programme has recently moved into the execution phase, with the subsequent projects having their timescales staggered by approximately one year.

This planning position will be located in project office in Staines, England. The selected individual may need to spend short periods of time in our Tier 1 contractors or key suppliers offices. The role will primarily cover:
Integration of the SURF planning activities, both within the sector and other external work areas (FPSO, Operations, Drilling,etc) and involvement in the SIMOPS process.
Control and management of interfaces.
Management and support of the planning activities within the SURF sector and of the contractors chosen to execute the EPC scope of work for the SURF facilities.
Engagement with our contractors to develop and manage their detailed and high level schedules for design and procurement
Development with the contractor of their progress and reporting systems in line with client requirements
Input to the Programme integrated schedule consistent with the Clients Major Projects Common Process
Provide assurance that the Contractor's Schedule systems interface with client and progress measurement is effective and consistent
Promote collaborative information sharing with Team-members and Contractors

There will be a close working relationship with contractors.
