Senior Engineer North West, approx 35K

My client is part of a Global Engineering company and provides a range of Civil Engineering construction services throughout the UK on projects from 1m to 100m to a wide range of public and private sector customers. They need a Senior Engineer to work on a variety of projects including highways, infrastructure, water and general civils ranging from 2m to 15m on average.

Reporting to either the Site Agent or Project Manager you role will involve complex setting out in a variety of types of work. You will need experience of setting up initial survey control for projects, be able to use Auto Cad setting out software and manipulation and keen to develop, train and mentor junior engineers in the methods of setting out and basic engineering skills.

The Senior Engineer will also be required to complete company standard returns and reports, cover quality control and show awareness and demonstrate implementation of all site safety measures at all times. Candidates will have previous experience working within a similar role and have the relevant skills / knowledge gained from working with a regional or national civils contractor on general civils projects. Projects include highways, infrastructure, water and general civils and ideally you will need experience from these types of work. You will be site based and work on projects throughout the North West.
