These important customer-facing roles combine the elements of engineering knowledge with commercial engineering skills. The major duties of the role are

� To deal with general customer enquiries on a broad product range
� To prepare quotes against customer specifications, which involves interpretation of both technical and commercial specifications
� To make correct product selections
� To support Field Sales staff with product, technical and commercial queries plus other associated duties.

To succeed in this role, you will have one of the following backgrounds:

- You are a recent graduate in an Engineering discipline, possibly with a years work experience. You have both the personal qualities and the desire to move into commercial engineering and are seeking your first role

- You have a good strong technical background and are capable of interpreting customer or technical specifications and meeting these requirements. Your background could include working in a parallel mechanical engineering field. You will also need good interpersonal and PC skills
