Commercial Business Manager required by one of the leading support services providers, servicing the life-cycle of transport infrastructure from feasibility through to planning, design and operational management. Based in Birmingham the purpose of the role will be to support the Service Director for Rail in delivering commercial solutions for Rail contracts.

Along with a detailed understanding of Network Rail contract conditions you will also bring experience of :

� Running a series of contracts valued in excess of �5m each
� Detailed understanding of the drivers behind the Network Rail CP4 strategy
� Experience of delivering commercial solutions on rail contracts


Responsibilities will include
� Providing commercial support to deliver good p/l results across the portfolio of contracts allocated
� Driving consistency of good valuation through the business
� Enhance our customer relationships with influential procurement and contracts people in network rail
� Coach and develop staff to raise commercial awareness in this part of the business
� Develop good strategies for further improving cash flows in this part of the business
� Develop in conjunction with Group Procurement good supply chain strategies for delivering contracts
� Role covers responsibility for all aspects of post commercial activity
Fulfil all other duties required of a Commercial Business Manager as they relate to statute, safety, quality, audit review and the selection and development of staff
