Commissioning Engineer - Cumbria - Contract / Staff

Our large client specialising in construction is currently looking for a mechanically bias commissioning engineer to add to their team based in Cumbria working on nuclear projects. The candidate will have prior experience of working on-site at Sellafield and be familiar with Sellafield Ltd standards and safety requirements. The role will involve commissioning mechanical equipment i.e. piping ducts as well as getting involved with installation and testing. Our client is open to taking on a contractor on a long-term basis i.e. 2 years work or a permanent staff placement. The salary / hourly rate is open to negotiation and the client is ideally looking for local staff but will consider those who are willing to travel.
