Our client is a an engineering company and specialist who provide design, manufacutre and installation solutions and services for process packages within the Oil & Gas market. They specialise in skid mounted packages, metering & water treatment systems. Due to the expansion of the business in the Gloucestershire region, they presently require a E&I Engineer to join the projects team.

Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
To design and engineer the electrical and instrumentation requirements of all systems and control panels for projects allocated by the E&I Manager.
Achieve agreed design schedules and completion dates for all electrical and instrument installation activities within budget and to specification requirements for projects allocated by the E&I Manager.
DUTIES
Accept initial Project documents for review. (i.e. Client Specifications; Proposed P&ID and Layout; a copy of the proposed Budget (in full); any pre-award documentation which may effect Instrumentation and Electrical Engineering Design.
Provide input to relevant Project Documents (e.g. Production Programme, Quality Plan, Document Schedule) and review preliminary issues of these documents.
Prepare all E&I equipment enquiries and Purchase Orders with respect to Project budget. For approval by the E&I Manager
Review and Approve all E&I documents raised by Sub-vendors, including Control Panel documentation
Verify that complete assemblies have been built in accordance with E&I Test and Inspection �Proof Documents�.
Review and approve all Hazardous Area Certificates for duty and safe operation.
Prepare test and operating and maintenance procedures
Assist in preparation of technical proposals and cost and labour estimates for skid cabling, instrument installation and control panels and provide technical support to the Sales Department.
Ensure that drawings and documents for submission to client are produced in accordance with the project document submission schedule.
