Instrument Engineer (Operations & Maintenance) - Cheshire - �35-50,000 per annum + benefits

Our large client involved in the petrochemical, process and general chemical industry is looking to recruit an Instrument Engineer to join their organisation based in Cheshire (Merseyside way).

The role of Instrument Engineer will involve all aspects of maintenance and operations on the live plant which will include:

Providing P&C engineering support to operations, maintenance and technology to optimise plant availability, performance, equipment reliability and cost, and ensure compliance with good engineering standards
Assist in the planning and preparation of turnarounds including scope definition and optimisation
Assist in the execution of turnarounds
Provide design and development for day-to-day maintenance plant changes and act as P&C signatory for plant changes
Define and optimise maintenance requirements for P&C equipment in the production unit
Provide input to asset development teams, improvement processes and reliability action plans.

The candidate should have a degree in a relevant discipline and will ideally be chartered or working towards chartered status. We�ll expect you to have significant practical experience in process plant production support and project experience in the areas of instrumentation, control systems and safeguarding.
