Our client, a large rail organisation, is looking to recruit a lead planner to their offices in Central London. You will ensure that all individual plans within the overall programme of work are co-ordinated.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Support line or Senior Project Managers\' in all planning requirements.
2. Create, monitor and manage a line or programme plan.
3. Manage, train and develop the team planning expertise within the programme.
4. Work with the Project Planners to provide business information and visibility of the plan through analysis and reporting.
5. Identify line specific and programme wide risks
6. Ensure contractor obligations are known and factored into the line plan
7. Deliver the quality of plan and meeting the minimum requirements of programme assurance.
8. Ensure, when appropriate, all programmes / schedules are base lined to the defined standards.
9. Deliver Work Package Plan projections for line or programme according to defined requirements

Essential experience
1. Proven track record of planning on major railway project / portfolio of projects.
2. Substantial experience of leading a planning team.
3. Engineering degree or equivalent.
4. Experience of Primavera current version.
5. Project Management experience
