The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5+ years of relevant of design work experience in related field or work setting (engineering, lab sciences, pharmaceutical/biotech or medical device manufacturing). Mechanical HVAC design experience is required.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
- 4 Year Mechanical degree is preferred
- Minimum 5+ years relevant experience
- Must have mechanical (HVAC) design experience for industrial, manufacturing or biopham facilities
- Experience with design of heating and ventilation systems, utilities, and start-up and commissioning of HVAC and utilities is preferred
- Experience at a engineering consulting firm is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
- Designs and specifies processes or equipment; compiles and evaluates data, makes recommendations and prepares reports
- Identifies cost effective solutions to design problems
- Provides sketches and design oversight for the development of detail drawings
