As a result of continued growth within their Birmingham Transportation team, my client now require a Principal level Engineer to take up the Intelligent Transport Systems sector.
You will join an existing team ensuring that a range of research, development and feasibility projects are completed within schedule. You will become a key figure in public and private relations, being responsible for the development and maintenance of relationships. This includes attending technical meetings, providing key expertise and assistig in the proposal for future tender. You will have particular expertise in research program management, vehicle telematics and traffic management control system design, amongst other things. Ideally, you would have an uinderstanding of UML, OGC reviews and UTMC though this is not entirely essential.

Ideally, the successful candidate will be Chartered, or at least working towards and hold a relevant Masters' degree.
