Process Control Engineer - Permanent - Fine Chemicals - Midlands

Our client is a global manufacturer of specialty chemicals and due to an increase in work load at there midland based manufacturing site they are looking to recruit a Process Control Engineer on a permanent basis. You will be degree qualified in either control or chemical engineering, and have past experience within a manufacturing environment. The purpose of the role is to provide control and technical process support to operational, production and engineering departments. You will have practical experience in programming and configuration Distributed Control Systems. You will also be responsible for repair and preventative maintenance service for the DCS and hardware in the operational and production areas. Also part of the control engineer�s role will be also to act as a process engineer helping and assisting in process modifications, troubleshooting and optimization to existing plant and equipment.
