Our client is an international leader in the design, production and installation of biomass renewable energy systems. They are currently looking to recruit a Process Engineer to join there Cheshire based team on a staff basis. This role will form a key part of the engineering team and will support multiple construction projects, typically up to 3 per year with a value of >�10million per year; and in addition provide support to business development, tendering, operating and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities include:
Keeping abreast of technology developments for gasification, pyrolysis and associated processes; as appropriate making recommendations for future short, medium and long term development activities to ensure the company maintains its technological lead.
The maintenance of a suitable Master Copy database of all Process Engineering deliverables.
Monitor and control quality of all Process Engineering outputs.
Specification, development and maintenance of appropriate Process Engineering modelling and design tools.
Responsibility for the key Process Engineering deliverables
Process Engineering input to other engineering activities and deliverables.

Applicants should hold a relevant Degree qualification in Chemical Engineering or a related subject, and have demonstrable experience of delivering Process Engineering to support multidiscipline project implementation within process technologies. It is essential to have at least a basic understanding of gasification and pyrolysis processes, direct experience in downdraft gasification technology would be a distinct advantage as would Chartered status.
