Our client, a Major Operating Company, is seeking a Project Engineer to work in the Offshore Structural Projects group.

Job Requirements:
B.S. Engineering (Civil / Structural), 5+ years project engineering experience in offshore oil and gas industry, domestic and offshore travel required. Familiarity with offshore fixed platforms required. Prior experience with structural design using structural analysis software (i.e. SACS) required, analysis involving dynamic loads preferred. Some knowledge of process facilities preferred.

Role Description

Plan and execute offshore projects including the installation of platform structural additions, topside & underwater structural repairs, mobilization of drilling rigs and other miscellaneous construction projects associated with offshore structures. Work tasks will include:

� Ensure safety is addressed in all aspects of work planning and execution
� Provide oversight on structural design work by Engineering Consultants
� Provide structural engineering support for projects (i.e. review structural drawings, develop weight takeoffs, conduct misc. structural calculations, etc.)
� Develop and coordinate detailed work execution plans (including cost & schedule estimates)
� Procure required services and equipment using Company procurement processes
� Coordinate required regulatory permitting and reporting
� Manage and report project cost and schedule
