Our clent is a specialist Construction company with a reputation as a market leader in its sector. Since securing a number of National Contracts this company is looking to add to its existing team based in York.

Our client requires the services a Sub contract Buyer to represents the companies interests with their subcontractors. The main duties are;

1. To co-ordinate the clarification of customer requirements within agreed timescales and costs.

2. To ensure Contract Terms and Conditions, including valuations raised for payment and agreement of final accounts, are agreed in accordance with Company procedures.

3. To ensure all agreed payment terms and contractually agreed conditions are complied with.

4. To co-ordinate customers� building requirements to completion and agree commercial and technical standards.

5. To monitor and report the progress of works against an agreed programme.

6. To ensure the commercial interests of the Company are protected in all aspects of the commercial environment.

7. To maintain compliance with the Company's Safety Policy and CDM requirements for all employees and Sub-Contractors to the Company, on those Contracts allocated to the jobholder.
8. To monitor and develop system applications to provide optimum benefit to the subcontract process.
